Professor Jeremy Turner

Consultant Endocrinologist, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Jeremy is consultant endocrinologist and  diabetologist in Norwich and honorary professor of medicine at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. He is clinical lead of the bone and calcium service in Norwich where until recently he worked for many years alongside Professor Bill Fraser in the bone and calcium service. He trained in endocrinology at the Hammersmith Hospital London and undertook his PhD studies in Oxford under the supervision of Professor Raj Thakker who was also instrumental in Jeremy's clinical training in bone and calcium medicine. Jeremy is a past convenor of the Society for Endocrinology's Bone and calcium network, co-leads the NHSE rare bone disease collaborative network (RDCN) in East Anglia, is an active trialist in the bone and calcium field, and co author on the Society for Endocrinology's clinical guidelines in the bone and calcium field
