Chair: Kirsty MacLennan

Kirsty MacLennan is a consultant clinical psychologist across diabetes, adult weight management and sexual health, as well as and clinical lead for NHS Grampian Diabetes Managed Clinical Network. She has extensive clinical experience supporting individuals living with long term conditions, which has informed her supervision of trainees and teaching of other professionals and students. As a Diabetes UK Clinical Champion, Kirsty led a national service change campaign to improve patient-centred outcomes, collaborating with many stakeholders with effective results. She sits on a number of committees, including the Scottish Diabetes Group. Kirsty also chairs SLWGs on behalf of this group as well as the national Leads for Clinical Health Psychology group. The NHS Grampian diabetes psychology team she leads has been recognised by the UK Government as centre of excellence in diabetes psychological care.
