Tabitha Randell is a consultant in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Nottingham Children’s Hospital. She was responsible for the development and introduction of the Paediatric Diabetes Best Practice Tariff and was chair of the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes from 2020-2024. She is the joint chair of the BSPED Pre-T1D special interest group, which published the UK recommendations for managing children and young people with positive diabetes auto-antibodies in summer 2025. She has been a member of the DUK PC programme organising committee since 2020 and is the current Vice Chair of the POC.
