Stella George is a consultant diabetologist at East and North Herts NHS Trust. She is a lead author of the JBDS Guideline for the use of Variable Rate Intravenous Insulin Infusion (VRIII) in medical inpatients, is a member of the writing group on several other JBDS-IP guidelines. She serves on several national committees including ABCD, SfE and the diabetes and endocrinology section of the Royal Society of Medicine where she has previously served as president of that section. She is currently the director for the medical workforce and data insights unit at the Royal College of Physicians, London.
