Peter Jacob is a Consultant in Diabetes and Metabolism at Bart's Health NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London. His clinical interests include technology in type 1 diabetes and particularly its use in groups where access to technology has been challenging in the past. He also has an interest in type 1 diabetes and mental health and supports the North East London T1DE service. His research interests include problematic hypoglycaemia and mental health in diabetes, including in the treatment and prevention of recurrent DKA.
