Dr Marina Politis

Marina is an academic FY2 doctor in Newcastle and Honorary Research Fellow with the MESSAGE (Medical Science Sex & Gender Equity Project) which aims to improve integration of sex and gender differences across UK biomedical, health and care research and has co-produced a sex and gender policy framework for the UK. Marina has an interest in health justice and primary care and is passionate about the role of health professionals in advocating for marginalised patients, as well as medical education.
