Jolyon is a Consultant in Diabetes at University Hospitals of Leicester. He has been a Consultant since 2022 and has a particular interest in type 1 diabetes, diabetes technology and diabetic foot disease. He also works as a Consultant Endocrinologist in the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health and has delivered teaching sessions to specialty trainees in this area. In addition to his clinical work he is undergraduate diabetes co-lead at Leicester Medical School along with the year 3 medicine block co-lead. He is the Diabetes and Endocrinology Morbidity and Mortality lead and is also a member of the Clinical Senate at University Hospitals of Leicester. Jolyon has published in British Journal of Diabetes around ensuring accurate classification of diabetes, his experience of Diabetes and Endocrinology Higher Speciality Training and the outcomes from diabetic foot surgery.
