Dr Finola Cullenbrooke

Finola Cullenbrooke is a General Adult psychiatrist with a special interest in Diabetes Psychiatry. Finola graduated from UCL Medical School in 2015 and completed her Psychiatry training in East London. Whilst training, she completed a year as a Clinical & Research Fellow in Diabetes Psychiatry working with Dr Chris Garrett. The fellowship focused on part of the diabetes population that struggle to advocate for themselves, and are left behind by advances in treatment, such as insulin pump therapy. She has also led on service development to increase access to continuous glucose monitoring, for insulin-dependent patients with T2DM, across East London mental health services. She has worked closely with the Irish Traveller community to increase access to mental health care and has published in this area.  She has in a keen interest in working with underserved and marginalised communities to address parity of esteem.
