Hannah Greer is Diabetes UK’s Campaign Lead on tackling diabetes stigma and an expert in public campaigning, mobilisation, and communications. She has been leading Diabetes UK’s Strike Out Stigma campaign which seeks to strike out the blame and judgment directed to people living with diabetes, in all its forms.
Prior to Diabetes UK, she managed Save the Children’s work to tackle poverty stigma, using narrative change techniques and strategic communications to counter the toxic public discourse around the welfare system. Hannah is passionate about the power of language and human storytelling to shift public perceptions about contentious social issues and ultimately create behaviour change.
