Dr Sophie Jones obtained her primary medical qualification from Magdalen College, University of Oxford in 2014. She began specialty training in Diabetes & Endocrinology in North West London in 2020. She is currently undertaking a PhD at Imperial College London on a joint Medical Research Council & Diabetes UK funded Clinical Research Training Fellowship, investigating the role of low-calorie diets in early-onset Type 2 diabetes. Her research interests include personalised medicine & classification systems for Type 2 diabetes.
