Dr Lauren Hickling is a Clinical Psychologist wording in Transition and Adult Diabetes at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. Lauren completed her MSc in Psychiatric Research and her DClinPsy at King’s College London. Lauren’s interests focus on stigma in people living with diabetes, patient’s views on technology use in diabetes care, and adapting therapeutic models for use in Diabetes care (in particular EMDR and ACT).
Lauren has extensive experience in working in clinical research across a variety of settings and with a variety of different health presentations. Lauren’s work has been published in a number of high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, and presented at National and International conferences. Lauren’s experience working in clinical health psychology has been put to use training future Clinical Psychologists, resident doctors, registrars, and wider members of the multidisciplinary team.
