Dr Anna Brackenridge MBChB, MD, FRCP

Dr Anna Brackenridge MBChB, MD, FRCP is Consultant in Diabetes at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London. She leads the multidisciplinary diabetes and pregnancy service at GSTT, recognised nationally for its integrated model of obstetric, diabetes and midwifery care.

Her clinical and research interests include technology use in type 1 diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, and monogenic diabetes. She was a co-investigator in the CONCEPTT, AiDAPT and PREPARED  studies and continues to contribute to translational research linking clinical practice, patient experience and digital innovation.

This nomination highlights the collective achievement of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Diabetes and Pregnancy Team, whose multidisciplinary approach exemplifies the values of the Mary MacKinnon Lecture, collaboration, empowerment, and person-centred care.
