DAFNE HCP training is delivered remotely to improve access for busy healthcare professionals. DAFNE courses are hosted by The Open University so HCPs can complete the online course at a time that suits them. Group sessions are held online via Teams.
Healthcare professionals (HCPs) from non-DAFNE services can access introductory training to understand DAFNE principles, however this level of training does not enable the delivery of patient courses.
HCPs in DAFNE centres can access our full suite of professional education enabling the delivery of patient courses free of charge.
HCPs in non DAFNE centres can access a shortened form of our training free of charge.
The DAFNE Doctor Programme (DDP) is accessible to any diabetes consultant, specialist registrar or GP with a special interest in diabetes."
