Aisling Pigott (Registered Dietitian) is a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a Health and Care Research Wales-funded doctoral researcher. She was previously a specialist Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

Aisling's research focuses on preventinion of disordered eating in young people with type 1 diabetes, through adapting evidence-based interventions for real-world clinical settings. Aisling holds national leadership roles with the British Dietetic Association (BDA), including Non-Executive Director and Vice Chair. She is an experienced educator and media spokesperson, with a strong interest in career development, collaboration, and supporting the future diabetes workforce.
