Chair: Dr Sheridan Waldron

Alongside Sheridan’s clinical role as a Paediatric Diabetes Dietitian and her research work, she has been involved in the development of many initiatives to improve standards of care and outcomes for children and young people with diabetes and their families. This work involved working with Diabetes UK, the National Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network and the National Peer Review Programme for Children and Young people’s Diabetes Services. 

Also throughout Sheridan’s career, she has had active roles and responsibilities in several international organisations such as the International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes, the International Diabetes Federation and the SWEET Project.org.
