Dr. Ezekiel Musa, MBBS, FWACP, PhD, is an Endocrinologist and clinician‑scientist whose work has advanced understanding of gestational diabetes, maternal obesity, and placental physiology, with important implications for maternal and foetal health. His research has been published in peer‑reviewed journals, including The Journal of Physiology and Placenta, and he has presented at international scientific meetings including International Federation of Placenta Associations Meeting and the International Congress of Endocrinology.


Dr. Musa is a locum consultant in General Medicine at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (UK) and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Anchor University Centre for Global Health (Nigeria). He has contributed to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Diabetes Atlas 11th edition scientific committee and serves as a member of the Hyperglycaemia in Pregnancy Special Interest Group. His contributions have been recognised through prestigious honours, including The Journal of Physiology Early Investigator Prize, General physiology category.
