Dr Anusree Biswas is co-founder and director of Bridging Change, leading programmes that strengthen racialised communities through collaboration, empowerment and systems change. Her work includes developing preventative, communitybased mental health services, an Ageing Well programme and the Community Voices Group initiative, which enables communities to influence health, council and voluntary sector services. She oversees infrastructure support for racialised community organisations across the South of England. Anusree is also Lead Programme Adviser at Partners in Care and Health (LGA and ADASS). She has shaped a national safeguarding adults improvement programme, developing postCQC diagnostic support, leading and developing safeguarding peer reviews, improving legal literacy and strengthening the sector’s response to discriminatory abuse through developing a nationally used selfassessment tool. She brings wider system leadership, including through sitting on the NHS Sussex Integrated Care Partnership and Sussex Police scrutiny panels, and currently serves as Sussex Police Independent Chair of Use of Force.
