Dr Megan Heague graduated from the University of Leeds in 2024 and is currently an Academic Foundation Year 2 Doctor at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Research interests include investigating how body composition and ethnicity influence diabetes and obesity-related multimorbidity, with a particular focus on long-term consequences of gestational diabetes and the impact of diabetes across a woman’s life course
